Restaurant Vermeer is an internationally acclaimed modern restaurant in the heart of the city of Amsterdam. Under the management of Master Chef Chris Naylor, the team focuses on innovation and quality. Chris Naylor’s kitchen is best described as pure and honest. During a creative process, Chris and his team transform everyday ingredients to complex dishes with pure and vigorous flavours, highlighting the changing seasons and local Dutch produce. At Restaurant Vermeer we work 38 hours per week. The restaurant is open for dinner only from Wednesday to Saturday. On these days, you are required to work from 15:00 – 24:00. On Tuesdays, the entire team (Kitchen and waiting staff) works from 10:00 – 16:00. On this inspiration day, we create new ideas and develop our food and beverage menus.

As Chef de Rang at Restaurant Vermeer, you have a passion for fine-dining and restaurants recognized by Michelin. You entertain the guests with your impeccable but subtle service. You are motivated, proactive, and you know how to offer guests an unique experience with your guest-centric approach. In this position you will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through your extensive knowledge of food and wines and your exceptional eye for detail.
