Who are we?
Coperama Benelux is a procurement platform for hospitality, founded in 2016 and an independent part of Minor Hotels. Coperama's goal is to improve the purchasing conditions of its members (hotels and more) by combining purchasing volume. Minor Hotels is our biggest member with 50 hotels in the Benelux.
Around 1800 hotels in various countries make use of the Coperama platform, making it the number 1 purchasing platform for the hospitality industry in Europe today.

What are you going to do?
As a Junior Business Development you work closely with the Sales and Business Development Manager Benelux and your base is the regional Benelux office in Hoofddorp. Your main task will be to support the Sales and Business Development activities in the broadest sense of the word. We encourage you think about strategies, plans and share your well-underpinned ideas with us.

You are part of a global team with colleagues in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and South America. Below you will find a selection of your daily activities:

• Creating content & optimizing Marketing publications (like newsletters & LinkedIn);
• Supporting and assisting clients with ordering through the Coperama website (Marketplace);
• Assisting in developing and execution of the commercial plan for the BENELUX market;
• Conducting market research (Dutch and Belgian Hotels);
• Conducting a competitor's analysis;
• Optimizing the online customer experience;
• Carry out acquisitions to bring in new customers;
• Identifying critical and essential needs of Coperama customers, but also identifying and raising business opportunities with new customers.

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague who aims to take the Sales and Business Development department to the next level and who brings the following:
• Bachelor in Sales, Marketing or Hotel Management – or demonstrable HBO working and thinking level;
• Extensive knowledge of Social Media platforms;
• Eager to learn, well organised, proactive and decisive;
• Analytical skills;
• Independent and responsibe, someone who says: I'll take care of this!" and does so;
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel sector in the Benelux; you know the network of hotel managers & owners and also have knowledge of Operations in a hotel;
• Knowledge of the supplier market in Hospitality;
• Strong communication skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships at different levels;
• Ability to work project-based as well as process-oriented;
• Ethics is important to you;
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
• Preferably living in the Randstad and in possession of a car;
• Sales-oriented work experience in the hospitality industry is a plus;
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, French is an advantage.
